Join Jane Riordan to go on an adventure to the Hundred Acre Wood. Celebrate 100 years of Winnie-the-Pooh and friends, hear a special storytime, and discover how to draw the bear of very little brain. The event will be followed by the chance to buy the gorgeous new edition of Winnie-the-Pooh: Once There Was a Bear and Winnie-the-Pooh: Tales from the Forest and get it signed by Jane.
Suitable for ages 4+. [Please note this is the same repeated session, same as the 12.15pm event.]
Author Bio:
Jane Riordan originally trained to be a primary school teacher before her love of children’s books took her to a career in publishing. She has written several authorised sequels and prequels for A.A.Milne’s beloved Winnie-the-Pooh series. Jane’s writing is filled with the gentle humour, friendship and life lessons that echo A.A.Milne’s original stories, while showing her real affection for Winnie-the-Pooh, a true bastion of British literary heritage.
Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all events. All attendees, adults and children, must have a valid ticket to be admitted to events. Age guidance is provided for each event. Events are not suitable for children younger than the age stated.
