Nature Writing by the Wharfe (1 Day Workshop)

Yorkshire acts as both location and muse on this immersive one-day nature writing workshop in the beautiful grounds of Nell Bank, an outdoor centre nestled in the Wharfe valley on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

The workshop will be led by poet and editor John Whale and poet and environmentalist Matt Howard. In the morning you’ll enjoy a guided nature exploration, observing and drawing creative inspiration from the ancient oak woodlands of Middleton Woods, the winding River Wharfe and stunning views of the Wharfe valley. In the afternoon they will lead a masterclass in nature writing as you create prose and poetic responses to your experiences in nature.
